Conference Special

Representation at Conference

The Representative Session of the Methodist Conference begins in just over a week’s time in Telford.  You can find the agenda with links to all the paperwork here: https://www.methodist.org.uk/about-us/the-methodist-conference/conference-2022/conference-programme/   If you would like to make your views known on any of the issues raised then you are free to contact any of the District Representatives (details in the District Directory).  They are:  Denis Beaumount; Rev’d Helen Croft; Kira Davies, Deacon Linda Gibson; Rev’d Sam Hagerman; David Hemingway; Rev’d Sue Levitt and Jackie Whitehouse.
Day visitors to the Conference are welcome.  You do not need a ticket other than for the weekend.

Running, Refugees, Food and Faith Event

Whether you’re local or just in Telford for the Methodist Conference, you’re welcome to a relaxed Sunday evening at the Oregano Project in Albrighton, set up both to make delicious pizza and as a way of supporting refugee athletes.

Limited seating at Oregano means that booking is essential.  If you are unable to take up your place please let us know.  The event is free but you will pay for your own food and drink.  Turn up anytime from 6.45pm (we know that attendance at ordinations may create delays).  Order your pizza, tackle the table quiz and find out who else is in the room.  Around 8pm there’ll be an informal conversation between Inderjit, Jude and Rachel about what running, sanctuary, food and faith mean to them.

The Oregano Project is on Albrighton Station, WV7 3FD
Note that there is a train service between Telford and Albrighton.

Contact email: chair@wsmethodist.org.uk
